We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join our supportive dental practice, committed to providing exceptional care to families in the Greater Bridgeport and Fairfield area. Under the guidance of Dr. Angelo M. Guerrera, who has over 30 years of experience in serving his community, you will play a vital role in fostering strong patient relationships and promoting optimal oral health.
As a practice that values personalized care, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment for families. Our approach focuses on attentive listening, understanding patients' needs, and delivering gentle, effective dental hygiene services. In this part-time position, you will have the opportunity to work closely with patients of all ages, from first-time visitors to seasoned dental patients, all while making a meaningful impact on their dental health.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and preventive care treatments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits
- Assist in the identification of dental issues and collaborate with the dentist to develop treatment plans
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards
- Contribute to a positive and friendly office atmosphere for both patients and team members
Qualifications:
- An associate degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program
- A valid state dental hygienist license
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
