We are seeking a compassionate and skilled dental hygienist to join our dedicated team at our privately owned general dental practice. As a part-time member of our small but dynamic office, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dental care to our valued patients while contributing to a supportive and respectful workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments, including periodontal screenings and oral pathology screenings.
- Provide effective treatment services, including scaling and root planing, ultrasonic scaling, and calculus removal.
- Utilize advanced techniques such as air polishing and application of irrigation agents to enhance patient care.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and treatment options, fostering an understanding of their dental health.
- Collaborate with the dentist in treatment planning and documentation through effective data entry and use of Eaglesoft.
- Monitor vital signs and implement safety protocols, utilizing provided personal protective equipment (PPE) including disposable gowns, face shields, nitrile gloves, and regular masks.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess an accredited dental hygiene degree, state licensure, and proficiency with digital X-rays (Schick) and patient management software. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate demeanor are essential to thrive in our patient-centered environment.

Work Environment & Benefits:

This part-time position offers a 45-minute lunch break, parking access in the front or back lots, and the opportunity to participate in paid holidays. Our practice is committed to maintaining a collaborative and positive atmosphere, ensuring that both our staff and patients have a rewarding experience.

Compensation:
