Dental Assistant

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Job description:

Our office is located in north Fort Worth area- a short 10 min drive from Roanoke and Haslet, 15 min drive from Denton and 20 min drive from Saginaw area.

Qualifications and Requirements

Must have a valid Texas Dental Assisting license.
Positive and outgoing personality, exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
excellent patient care skills
strong organizational skills
Superior working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
Ability to build rapport with patients
Good manual dexterity
Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs
X-ray certification required
Education and Experience:
Texas Registration Certificate for Dental Assistants
Current CPR certification
1+ years of working experience in a Dental Practice
Ortho experience a plus
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during procedures by providing chairside support and ensuring a sterile environment.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and materials for various treatments.
Take and develop X-rays while adhering to safety protocols.
Document patient information accurately in EMR systems and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
Monitor and record vital signs as needed, providing compassionate patient care throughout their visit.
