Licensed Dental Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a personable, motivated Endodontic Dental Assistant to join our growing team. Our practice opened less than two years ago and features high end finishes, a modern design and the latest dental technology.

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the continued growth of the practice. Duties & Responsibilities
-Chairside assist doctor during endodontic procedures, primarily root canals and surgical treatments, ensuring efficient and smooth patient care.
-Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
-Take dental radiographs (X-rays), including 3D scans.
-Assist with front desk responsibilities when needed, including answering phones and scheduling appointments.
-Educate patients on root canal treatment and provide clear post-operative instructions.
-Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
-Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain proper sterilization and aseptic techniques.
-Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality.

Qualifications
-Completion of a Dental Assisting program/certification required, must be with a radiology certification
-Previous experience as a Dental Assistant Preferred
-Familiarity with dental insurance coding and billing procedures.
-Ability to perform patient assessments and obtain vital signs.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
