Aten & Garofalo Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant II to join our established, highly reputable two-doctor practice in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte.
This role is an essential part of our clinical team—supporting the doctors, creating a smooth patient experience, and delivering the high level of care our patients expect.
What You’ll Do
● Assist doctors chairside during a variety of dental procedures
● Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper sterilization protocols are followed
● Support efficient patient flow throughout the day
● Take dental radiographs (as required)
● Provide a warm, professional, and reassuring chairside presence for patients
● Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation
● Collaborate closely with both clinical and administrative team members
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a team-oriented dental assistant who takes pride in both clinical excellence and patient care.
The ideal candidate:
● Prior dental assisting experience preferred
● Must hold all applicable North Carolina state licenses and certifications
● Brings a warm, professional chairside manner
● Communicates clearly and works well with both patients and team members
● Is organized, efficient, and able to manage a fast-paced environment
● Demonstrates strong attention to detail and time management
● Eaglesoft experience a plus
● Is committed to learning, growing, and contributing to a positive team culture
