We are a privately owned general dental office seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our friendly team during a maternity leave coverage period. As a Dental Hygienist in our practice, you will play an essential role in providing high-quality oral care and education to our patients. You will be responsible for conducting thorough patient assessments, performing cleanings, and delivering preventive care. Each appointment will allow you to connect with one patient at a time, ensuring they receive personalized attention. The typical appointment durations are 90 minutes for new patients, 60 minutes for recalls, and 30 minutes for children, allowing you ample time to deliver exceptional care and build rapport with our patients.
To excel in this role, you will need to have a minimum of one year of experience as a Dental Hygienist, equipped with the knowledge and skills to perform scaling, root planing, and other essential procedures. Proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable, as it will enhance communication with our diverse patient base.
Our practice prioritizes your safety and comfort, providing all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), including disposable gowns, face shields, nitrile gloves, and regular masks. You will have access to convenient onsite parking in our back parking lot, ensuring ease of commute.
This part-time position includes a one-hour lunch break, allowing you to recharge during your shift. We offer competitive hourly wages, with the flexibility of W2 or 1099 employment status.
