Pediatric Dental Hygienist Part-Time

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate dental hygienist to join our family-owned orthodontic and pediatric dental practice. Since opening in 2014, our team has been dedicated to helping children and teens build healthy smiles in a warm, supportive environment. Our doctors, who met at Temple University School of Dentistry, are committed to treating every patient with the same care and respect they would want for their own child.

This full-time role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with young patients and values a close-knit, patient-centered practice. You will provide high-quality preventive care in both pediatric dentistry and orthodontics, supporting patients through routine hygiene visits, education, and ongoing oral health maintenance. Because we see one patient at a time, you can focus on delivering attentive, individualized care without feeling rushed.

Responsibilities include performing dental cleanings, taking and reviewing radiographs as appropriate, assessing oral health, documenting findings accurately, and educating patients and families on proper home care techniques. You will also assist with orthodontic hygiene care, reinforce treatment instructions, and help create a positive experience for each patient visit. A calm, friendly approach and the ability to communicate effectively with children, adolescents, and parents are essential.

The ideal candidate must hold a valid Pennsylvania Dental Hygiene license and be comfortable working in a practice that serves both pediatric and orthodontic patients. A college-level education is expected, along with professionalism, strong clinical skills, and a team-oriented mindset. We are looking for someone who takes pride in delivering excellent care, works well with others, and enjoys being part of a practice where relationships matter.

This position follows a Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday schedule from 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break.
