Private office looking for a PT dental hygienist 1-2 days/week

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate dental professional to join our private practice in Venice, FL. Our office has proudly served the dental needs of the community for the past 30 years, building long-standing relationships with patients and delivering high-quality care in a welcoming, family-oriented environment. This full-time opportunity is available due to the upcoming retirement of our current hygienist, and we are looking for someone who values continuity of care, professionalism, and excellent patient communication.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive preventive care to patients of all ages in a general practice setting. Responsibilities will include performing dental cleanings, periodontal assessments, oral health education, taking diagnostic images as needed, and assisting the dental team in promoting positive patient experiences. You will work with one patient at a time and typically spend about one hour per patient, allowing you to deliver thoughtful, individualized care without feeling rushed.

We are looking for someone with a college-level education and the clinical knowledge, professionalism, and interpersonal skills to thrive in a busy but supportive dental office. Strong attention to detail, a gentle chairside manner, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members are essential. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining high standards of infection control, patient comfort, and quality documentation.

This full-time position includes a one-hour lunch break, providing time to recharge during the day. Our office environment is centered on teamwork, respect, and providing the best possible care to our patients.
