San Diego, CAWe are seeking a skilled, reliable dental assistant to join our busy, fast-paced private general practice. This full-time role is ideal for someone with at least 2+ years of experience who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and supporting a team committed to quality patient care. We are looking for a team player who is energetic, outgoing, and comfortable contributing to an efficient, positive office atmosphere.
Responsibilities include assisting chairside during a variety of general dentistry procedures, taking x-rays, supporting Cerec workflows, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and helping maintain smooth daily operations. Experience with Dentrix is required. Cross-training is preferred and will be valued in this role, as flexibility and cooperation are essential in a busy office setting.
Candidates should have a high school education and strong communication skills. PPE is provided, including disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, latex gloves, nitrile gloves, and regular masks. Parking is provided for staff convenience, and a 1-hour lunch break is included in the schedule.
