We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant II to join our growing team. If you are willing to cross train for the front desk responsibilities and open to learning, that would be an added plus for this role.

Position Overview:
The Dental Assistant II will support the clinical team in providing high-quality dental care, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining an efficient and organized workspace. This role requires an experienced dental assistant capable of handling expanded responsibilities in patient care, sterilization, and chairside procedures.

Responsibilities:

Assist dentists during dental procedures, including restorative, preventative, and surgical treatments

Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays)

Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper sterilization of instruments

Provide patient education and post-treatment instructions

Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting

Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment

Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications:

Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred

Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience, preferably in a general or family dentistry setting

Proficient in dental radiography and chair-side procedures including but not limited to

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of dental software and record-keeping systems
