We are seeking a full-time dental hygienist to join our comprehensive dental care practice. Our team serves patients of all ages in a general, single-doctor setting that accepts PPO and private insurance. This opening is available because our current hygienist is on maternity leave, and we are looking for a dependable, caring professional who enjoys contributing to a small, high-quality team.
Our practice is known for taking the time to truly get to know each patient, rather than rushing through appointments. We value precision, communication, and a personalized approach to care. Team members enjoy working here because of the strong attention to detail, the supportive environment, and the shared commitment to delivering excellent dentistry.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience preferred and bring a sense of humor, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to provide exceptional care. A college-level education and strong clinical confidence are important for success in this role.
Responsibilities include providing comprehensive hygiene care and patient education, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, gingivitis screening and treatment, fluoride treatment, oral hygiene instruction, oral cancer and oral pathology screening, periodontal treatment, desensitization, and patient recall. Additional duties may include dental charting, patient records, treatment planning, vital signs monitoring, sterilization and sterile procedures, scheduling, chairside assistance, and four-handed dentistry. Experience with air polishing, ultrasonic scaling, Cavitron, local anesthesia, antibiotic therapy, bleaching, whitening tray fabrication, sealants, and irrigation agents is highly valued. Familiarity with digital systems and technologies such as Kodak, Carestream, iTero, Medit, intraoral cameras, CAD/CAM, Invisalign, lasers, and related restorative or prosthodontic workflows is also beneficial.
We maintain a professional and comfortable workplace with strong infection control standards. PPE provided includes disposable gowns, goggles, nitrile gloves, regular masks, respirator masks, liquid-proof gowns, and face shields.
This is a full-time position with a one-hour lunch break. We typically schedule one patient at a time and spend about 60 minutes with each patient, allowing for quality-focused care. Parking is available outside the office.
Benefits include PTO, dental coverage, a 401(k), and a continuing education budget. Compensation is $60–$75 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
If you are looking for a place where quality matters, teamwork is valued, and patients are treated with care and respect, we would love to hear from you.
