Front Desk Associate
Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and personable Front Desk Associate to join our team in this dental specialty practice. This is a private practice limited to periodontics. Our practice has a family atmosphere. We work with great patients and referral doctors. We are looking for a front office staff who is willing to learn and take direction. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, handling scheduling appointments and inquiries.
Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information and assistance as needed.
Maintain accurate records through data entry and file management.
Assist with customer support by addressing guest concerns and resolving issues promptly.
Scheduling appointments and managing correspondence.
Support administrative tasks as a personal assistant when required.
Demonstrate excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
Skills
Proficiency in Word and Outlook.
Proficiency in Dentrix is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Experience in customer service or support roles is highly valued.
Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail in filing and record keeping.
Ability to manage time efficiently while juggling multiple responsibilities.
Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
Office hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30-4:30. Friday 7:30-12:30

This is a single doctor private practice limited to periodontics. We are located in Richardson, Tx in the Canyon Creek neighborhood. Our practice prides itself on its family atmosphere. This is not the typical high volume in-network practice. Our schedule allows us to spend time with patients, develop relationships and not feel rushed. We truly work as a team in the office. The patient experience, employee team work and a good employee atmosphere are our priority.
