Full time/Part time Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate dental hygienist to join our general dental practice. This Part time/ full time role offers the opportunity to work in a patient-centered environment where quality care, professionalism, and attention to detail are highly valued. The position is now available because our current dental hygienist is retiring, creating an excellent opening for an experienced clinician who is ready to become a trusted part of a supportive team.

As a dental hygienist in our office, you will work with one patient at a time and typically spend one hour with each patient, allowing you the time needed to deliver thorough hygiene services and build meaningful patient relationships. Your responsibilities will include performing dental cleanings, periodontal assessments, patient education, charting, radiographs as needed, and supporting the dentist in maintaining high standards of oral health care. Strong communication skills and a commitment to helping patients understand preventive treatment are essential.

We are looking for a professional with 2 to 3 years of experience in a dental setting. A college-level education is expected, along with the ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative office culture. Candidates should be comfortable providing care in a general practice environment and adaptable to the pace and routines of a busy dental office.

Our office, Smile Design Specialist, is designed to provide a welcoming and efficient experience for both patients and team members. Street parking is available for convenience. For safety and comfort, the office provides disposable gowns, latex gloves, and regular masks as part of our PPE standards.

This is a full-time hourly position with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.
