Seeking Registered Dental Hygienist (RDA) in Portage/Kalamazoo Area

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate dental hygienist to join our growing team in a general, multi-doctor, private practice setting. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive hygiene services and patient care with a strong focus on prevention and education. Duties will include prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, calculus removal, ultrasonic scaling, Cavitron use, air polishing, fluoride treatment, oral hygiene instruction, gingivitis screening and treatment, periodontal treatment, oral cancer screening, pediatric hygiene, pit and fissure sealants, and patient education. Additional responsibilities include dental charting, treatment planning, scheduling, sterile procedures, nitrous oxide administration and monitoring, Oraqix, and assisting with digital X-rays and laser procedures as appropriate. Familiarity with Curve DMS and Schick is preferred.

You will see one patient at a time, with typically 50 minutes scheduled for a standard recare appointment. A 1-hour unpaid lunch break is provided during the workday. The ideal candidate should be CPR certified and comfortable providing efficient, thorough care while maintaining excellent communication and professionalism.

Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach. Experience using Curve and familiarity with a multi-doctor private practice is highly valued.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $35–$45/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
