TREATMENT COORDINATOR

Are you passionate about helping patients understand and commit to the dental care they need? Do you thrive on communication, organization, and teamwork? Our office is looking for a Treatment Coordinator who will play a key role in guiding patients through their treatment journey, from understanding procedures to making financial arrangements and scheduling care.

What You’ll Do:
-Present treatment plans clearly and confidently, using visuals (x-rays, photos, models) to help patients understand their needs.
-Discuss financial options, arrange payment plans, and collect payments to reserve appointments.
-Motivate patients to move forward with treatment while maintaining a professional, caring approach.
-Perform insurance verifications, provide benefit breakdowns, and ensure accurate patient co-pays/deductibles.
-Handle follow-up calls/texts for patients who haven’t scheduled
-Ensure referral sources are tracked and follow through with referrals/prescriptions as needed.
-Audit accounts, batch claims, confirm appointments, and troubleshoot billing questions.
-Collaborate daily with the team to make sure the schedule is optimized, lab cases are ready, and production goals are met.

-Strong dental knowledge and an understanding of a great patient experience
-Excellent communication skills with the ability to make patients feel comfortable and motivated—not pressured.
-Confidence to present high-value treatment plans and discuss payment arrangements eye-to-eye.
-Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
-Understanding of dental insurance and ability to guide patients through their benefits.
-Tech/computer skills and the ability to learn quickly from written/oral instructions.
-Positive attitude, professional appearance, and a true team player who wants to help the practice succeed.

Daily Expectations & Standards:
-Arrive at 8:00 am to review voicemails, emails, and cancellations.
-Maintain professional appearance: clean scrubs, groomed hair, and strong personal presentation.

Work hours:
-Monday - Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm with a one-hour lunch.
