Registered Dental Hygienist
LOCATION
Cypress, TXSmile Avenue Family Dentistry in Cypress is hiring a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist at $45 to $55 an hour plus a production bonus. We're a multi-doctor general and family practice at 9212 Fry Rd, Suite 120, in the Miramesa plaza.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with lunch from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. Weekends off.
What you'll do: clean teeth and remove calculus and stains, including along the gumline, provide SRP and periodontal maintenance, review and update medical histories, palpate lymph nodes as part of the oral cancer screening, chart decay and disease findings for the doctor's diagnosis, and teach patients home care, including walking them through iTero wellness scans. You'll work in an assisted hygiene setup with a dedicated hygiene assistant.
Our office: digital X-rays, a CBCT, an intraoral scanner, and a Cavitron in every operatory.
What we're looking for:
- Texas RDH license (pending is OK, and new grads are welcome)
- BLS certification, which can be completed before your start date
- Comfortable educating patients with iTero wellness scans
- Comfortable working assisted hygiene with a dedicated hygiene assistant
- Confident with SRP and periodontal maintenance
- A Texas local anesthesia permit is preferred but not required
