Associate Dentist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general dentistry and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. This role involves working collaboratively with our dental team to deliver high-quality dental services to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment journey.

Duties

Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral conditions.
Provide a range of general dentistry services, including preventive care, restorative treatments, and oral surgery as needed.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure seamless patient care.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using dental terminology and electronic health record systems such as Epic.
Educate patients on oral health practices and treatment options to promote long-term wellness.
Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current with advancements in dentistry.
Requirements

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license and eligibility to practice dentistry in the state.
Proficiency in general dentistry practices; experience in pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and oral surgery is preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology and medical records management.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating leadership when necessary.
