Searching for a Dental Hygienist

Adams Family Dentistry is growing and looking for a motivated, upbeat, and dependable hygienist to join our growing team! We are looking for a skilled Dental Hygienist who loves creating amazing patient experiences and bringing positive energy to the office every day. This position will be part-time (1-2 days a week) to start but then grow to full-time (4 days a week)

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 2 years of hygiene experience
Open Dental and Dexis Imaging experience preferred
Experience with iTero scanner technology
Flexible and adaptable team player

Strong communication and organizational skills
Passion for providing excellent patient care

Duties:

Conducting comprehensive patient screenings, including assessment of oral health conditions, review of medical history, oral cancer screening, head and neck examinations, dental charting, and monitoring vital signs (blood pressure and pulse).
Removing calculus and plaque (both hard and soft deposits) from all tooth surfaces.
Applying preventive dental treatments, such as sealants and fluoride.
Educating patients on effective oral hygiene techniques to support long-term oral health.
Providing nutritional counseling as it relates to oral health and overall wellness.
Accurately documenting patient information and effectively communicating with the dentist.
Ensuring compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations, and performing sterilization and routine maintenance of equipment.
Building strong patient rapport and collaborating effectively with the dental team to ensure a positive clinical environment.
