Our established and still growing TMJ Disorder and Sleep Therapy office is looking to add another exceptional dental professional looking for a long-term home, working in a great team environment. We are looking for someone with 2 plus years of dental assisting experience to join our experienced team. Our practice focuses on improving patient quality of life by solely treating TMJ disorders and sleep apnea issues. Our Dr's are leaders in these areas of treatment and our office atmosphere is friendly and professional while providing exceptional care for our patients. Our practice is unique in that we do not do any general dentistry and it allows for time to get to know our patients as we help with their treatment. Most of the "dental work" is done by making adjustments to oral appliances(splints and mandibular advancement devices) outside of the mouth so very little aerosols are created. We use the highest level of infection control and PPE equipment available. We have an amazing team and are looking for the right long-term fit. We will train the right candidate but are not considering newly licensed dental assistants. Once trained, we are looking for someone who can be accountable to work on their own with a high level of skill with input from our Dr's. Our Dr's are always available to help increase our assistant's skill and knowledge of how to better treat our patients. Please note any current experience adjusting TMJ splints, occlusal guards, dental sleep appliances, or any other oral orthotic devices.
The ideal candidate:
- Likes being a part of a specialized team as an extension of knowledgeable Dr's.
- Is compassionate with patients and professional in their approach to patient care.
- Enjoys engaging with patients, learning how to help, and problem-solving.
- Takes pride in the impact their contribution has on positive patient outcomes.
- Has the ability to take what is learned and use it on their own in our practice.
- Has good writing skills and is comfortable with electronic medical records software.
Our office is offering:
- Incredible work environment.
- Competitive salary, exceptional paid time off, helath insurance contributions, and 401K.
- Monday - Thursday workweek.
- Personal fulfillment helping our patients get out of pain and/or sleep better.
