We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within our practice, providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation
$23.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Duties
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including but not limited to oral surgery, endodontics, and four-handed dentistry.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Take and dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix Ascend.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Monitor patient vital signs and ensure their comfort throughout procedures.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality patient care.

Skills
- Proficient in dental assisting techniques with hands-on experience in endodontics, and four-handed dentistry.
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix Ascend is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
- Ability to take vital signs accurately and monitor patient comfort levels.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate patient records.
- A compassionate approach towards patient care, ensuring a positive experience for all individuals visiting the practice.
