We are currently seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated **Registered Dental Hygienist** to join our growing team beginning around **mid-July**.

Schedule
We are initially looking for coverage on:
**Tuesday**
* 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
* Every other week: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
**Thursday**
* 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
* Every other week: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
**Position:** 1–3 days per week
**We're Flexible!**
While Tuesdays and Thursdays are our greatest need, we understand schedules vary. If those days don't work perfectly for you, we're happy to discuss other scheduling options for the right candidate.
As our practice continues to grow, additional days may become available.

Responsibilities
The Registered Dental Hygienist will:
* Provide preventive and periodontal dental hygiene services
* Perform comprehensive oral health assessments
* Conduct periodontal charting and risk assessments
* Perform prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and periodontal maintenance
* Take digital radiographs
* Capture intraoral photographs as needed
* Perform oral cancer screenings
* Administer local anesthesia and/or nitrous oxide (if licensed)
* Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants
* Educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care
* Document clinical findings accurately in electronic dental records
* Collaborate with the doctor to support comprehensive treatment planning
* Maintain OSHA, HIPAA, CDC, and infection control standards
* Sterilize instruments and maintain treatment rooms
* Deliver an exceptional patient experience through compassionate, personalized care

Qualifications
* Active North Carolina Registered Dental Hygienist License
* Current CPR/BLS Certification
* Excellent communication and patient education skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
* Reliable and punctual
* Experience with digital radiography
* Experience with Eaglesoft is a plus (if applicable)
* Local anesthesia certification preferred
