As a full-time Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in our practice by providing top-notch dental care while ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction. We prioritize our patients by purposefully scheduling appointments to maximize treatment focus and provide individualized attention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform periodontal maintenance, scaling, and root planing
- Administer digital radiographs and interpret findings
- Educate patients about oral hygiene and periodontal care
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Break down and set up treatment rooms, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Efficiently handle tools and materials necessary for procedures
- Maintain meticulous records in Eaglesoft and coordinate with Schick digital radiography systems
Essential Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess expertise in periodontal treatment, such as calculus removal and ultrasonic scaling, as well as proficiency with dental technologies like Cavitron and Piezon. You should also be CPR certified and skilled in four-handed dentistry and nitrous oxide administration. Your ability to educate patients and create a welcoming environment will be key to your success in our practice.
