RDH needed for a pediatric office

LOCATION
Hoboken, NJ

We are seeking a dependable, patient-focused dental professional to join our team in a full-time role supporting the delivery of high-quality oral healthcare. This position is ideal for someone who values teamwork, clinical precision, and a positive patient experience. The successful candidate will work closely with dentists and other clinical staff to provide preventive care, patient education, and support across a variety of routine and advanced dental procedures.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing thorough oral prophylaxis, and digital radiographs in accordance with clinical standards and safety protocols. You will assess oral health conditions, document findings accurately, and communicate observations effectively to the dentist and treatment team. A strong understanding of infection control, sterilization procedures, and proper instrument handling is essential. You will also assist patients in understanding proper home care techniques, preventive treatments, and the importance of maintaining ongoing oral health.

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in a dental setting who can work efficiently while maintaining a calm, reassuring manner with patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment. Comfort with modern dental technology, electronic charting, and routine administrative coordination is highly valued.

Key responsibilities include reviewing patient histories, preparing treatment rooms, taking and processing x-rays, removing deposits and stains, applying preventive materials when indicated, and reinforcing oral hygiene instructions. You will be expected to maintain accurate records, support continuity of care, and contribute to a welcoming and professional office environment. Collaboration, reliability, and a commitment to excellent patient service are important qualities for success in this position.

Candidates should possess the education and training required for dental hygiene practice and demonstrate a solid foundation in clinical best practices. Strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities are necessary. This is a full-time opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about promoting oral health and providing exceptional care.
