We are seeking a Lead Dental Assistant who is clinically strong, digitally proficient, highly organized, and aligned with our values of excellence, integrity, and patient-centered care.
Role Overview
This is not a basic assisting position.
This is a leadership role for someone who:
Thinks ahead
Understands full-arch and complex restorative workflows
Is confident with digital dentistry
Takes ownership of systems, inventory, and clinical flow
Supports a prosthodontist in advanced procedures
You will work directly with Dr. surgical, prosthodontic, and restorative cases and help maintain elevated clinical standards across the office.
Core Responsibilities
Chairside assisting for:
Implant surgery and restorations
Full-arch prosthodontics
Veneers and cosmetic cases
Crown and bridge procedures
Occlusal guards and complex restorative care
Prepare operatories with precision and efficiency
Anticipate procedural flow and instrument sequencing
Take high-quality intraoral scans (iTero / 3Shape or similar)
Assist with digital treatment planning workflows
Capture high-quality intraoral photography
Manage temporization and provisional fabrication when needed
Digital & Documentation
Proficiency with dental imaging systems
CBCT familiarity preferred
Accurate charting and documentation
Knowledge of dental terminology and coding
Assist with case organization and lab communication
Ensure all records reflect clinical accuracy and integrity
Leadership & Systems
Oversee sterilization protocols and infection control compliance
Maintain aseptic techniques at the highest standard
Manage inventory and ordering
Organize lab cases and delivery timelines
Support treatment coordination when needed
Help train and mentor additional clinical team members
Maintain clinical workflow efficiency and organization
Qualifications
Minimum 4–5 years clinical dental assisting experience
Experience in prosthodontics and implant dentistry required
Strong understanding of restorative workflows
Proficiency in digital scanning
Knowledge of dental anatomy and occlusion
Familiarity with medical/dental coding
Excellent communication skills
Calm, professional demeanor
Detail-oriented and systems-driven mindset
