Registered Dental Hygienist

We are a well-established, small family dental practice in Midtown Sacramento, dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-focused care for over 27 years. With a team of two dentists and five supportive staff members, we take pride in building long-term relationships with our patients and ensuring that they receive personalized attention at every visit. We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis.
In our practice, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall oral health of our patients while ensuring a comfortable and educational experience. You will have the opportunity to see one patient at a time, dedicating approximately 60 minutes to each individual. We emphasize the importance of preventive care, and you will engage in a variety of duties, including scaling and root planing, fluoride treatments, and oral cancer screenings.
Ideal candidates will possess a strong foundation in dental hygiene practices and be proficient in using dental software, particularly Eaglesoft. Your skills in calculus removal, periodontal screening, and patient education are essential as you work closely with our team to deliver outstanding care. Being CPR certified is a requirement, and familiarity with equipment such as Sirona, Gendex, and intraoral cameras will be highly valued.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $65, along with various benefits including paid time off (PTO), opportunities for continuing education courses, and parking accommodations for staff. Our office operates Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. A one-hour lunch break is provided to replenish and recharge.
