Hygiene days: 2-4 days/week

Duties:

- Perform dental hygiene procedures such as teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Setting up and break down rooms in timely manner, helping with sterilization
- Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Administer local anesthesia as needed
- Assist the dentist during exams and maintain a sterile working environment
- Document patient treatment records using dental software system-Dentrix Ascend

Qualifications:

- Valid dental hygienist license in CA
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Proficient in using dental software systems/open to being trained in using Dentrix Ascend
- Knowledge of dental coding and billing procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Job Types: Part-time to Full-time

Salary: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour, Negotiable

License/Certification:

Registered Dental Hygienist (Required)
Laser Certification (Preferred)
CPR/BLS Certification (Required)

Ability to Commute:

San Diego, CA 92130: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
