Thousand Oaks, CAJob Opportunity: Dental Hygienist – Part-Time Position
Join our dynamic dental practice, where patient care is our top priority! We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable part-time Dental Hygienist to join our team. Our office, operated by Dr. Peyman and Dr. Saman Saghizadeh, specializes in both General and Cosmetic Dentistry, serving a loyal patient base that has been with us for over 10 years. As a multi-specialty practice, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality care in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in our patients’ oral health journey. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing comprehensive dental hygiene assessments and cleanings
- Taking radiographs (x-rays) and interpreting results
- Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care
- Performing periodontal charting and other clinical procedures
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Ensuring adherence to infection control protocols and maintaining a clean work environment
Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates who possess the following:
- A valid state dental hygiene license
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental office setting
- Proficiency in taking dental x-rays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with patients and the dental team
- A commitment to excellence and a compassionate approach to patient care
Work Environment:
Our office is equipped with the latest dental technology, and we provide our staff with necessary personal protective equipment, including disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, latex gloves, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, and regular masks to ensure a safe working environment. You will enjoy a one-hour lunch break during your shift and can expect to see one patient at a time, allowing for meaningful interactions and quality care.
Compensation:
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $63 and above, commensurate with experience.
