The Local Dentist is a small, one-doctor, boutique dental office in Austin, and we’re looking for a hygienist to add to our team. We’re truly local, we know our patients, we care about our community, and we believe a dental office should feel personal — for our patients and for the people who work here.
We’re a supportive team that genuinely enjoys working together. We help each other, we take great care of our patients, and we believe in doing things the right way — without the corporate feel.
Our office is small, but our technology is anything but old-school. We use Open Dental, a Nomad, and CBCT technology, and we’re always looking for ways to make dentistry more efficient, comfortable, and exceptional for our patients.
There may also be opportunities for double hygiene with the support of an assistant, depending on the day and schedule — giving you the ability to be productive while still having a team around you to help.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is kind, dependable, passionate about patient care, and wants to be part of a team where people actually know and support one another.
