Experienced Dental Assistant

We are seeking a dependable, energetic dental assistant to join our locally owned private practice. This full or part-ime position supports a general, single-doctor office known for quality personalized care, strong communication, and teamwork. The same dentist and team care for patients at every visit, creating a consistent and welcoming experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical chairside assisting skills and a commitment to excellent patient care. Responsibilities include four-handed dentistry, chairside assistance, digital X-rays, patient charting, infection control, instrument sterilization, vital signs monitoring, oral hygiene instruction, and temporary crown fabrication. Experience with crowns/assisting, packing cord, suture removal, Invisalign, Zoom and Kor whitening, intraoral camera use, iTero scanning, and Open Dental is preferred. Additional duties may include data entry, patient records, ordering supplies, and supporting expanded functions as needed.

The successful candidate will be exceptional in maintaining the clinical area for efficiency and productivity following the clinic protocols. They will also adapt and learn new procedures quickly as an integral partner in providing exceptional, high quality care.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience, or 2 years if a CDA/EFDA. CPR and X-Ray certification is required. Fluency in English, with the ability to read, write, and speak clearly, is essential. A high school education is expected, higher education is encouraged. Lunch break is 1 hour. You will be cross-trained on front desk duties.
