We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dental Assistant who is passionate about patient care and enjoys working in a collaborative team setting.

This position is ideal for a candidate with at least 1 year of dental assisting experience who is either a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or committed to obtaining RDA registration within 90 days of hire.
Compensation is based on registration status, experience, and overall qualifications.

Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures
Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental services
Take high-quality digital dental radiographs (X-rays)
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary clinical environment
Sterilize instruments and follow all infection control protocols
Accurately document patient information and treatment notes using Dentrix software
Record patient diagnostic findings and treatment information
Communicate effectively with patients regarding procedures and care instructions
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality
Assist with all aspects of general dentistry

Qualifications:
Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification OR desire and commitment to obtain RDA certification within 90 days of hire
Experience taking digital dental X-rays
Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, reliable, and patient-focused attitude
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental environment
Preferred
Experience with Dentrix software
Current X-Ray certification
Local to the bay area is preferred
Experience assisting with a wide range of general dentistry procedures

Experience:

This position averages 34–36 hours per week and includes a 1-hour lunch break. our building offers Free Parking. Compensation is offered at an hourly rate, However, salary option is open for discussion. Benefits include health, vision, dental, paid vacation, paid holidays, sick pay, and a 401(k) plan.
