About the Role:
As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll set the tone for their visit. You will greet patients warmly, schedule and confirm appointments, verify insurance (if applicable), handle treatment plans and financial arrangements, and maintain accurate patient records. Your positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and ability to multitask will help create a welcoming environment for patients and support the smooth operation of our practice.
Qualifications:
- To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
- 1+ years of experience in the dental industry is strongly preferred, especially in a luxury or high-end setting.
Knowledge:
- Can competently manage front office administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, verifying patient information, and maintaining accurate records.
- Knows how to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients.
- Understands the importance of infection control, patient privacy, and OSHA regulations.
- Is proactive in staying updated on best practices and office policies.
Skills:
- Knows how to work with dental practice management software, including Open Dental, to schedule appointments, manage patient records, and process billing.
- Understands front office maintenance, supply inventory, and the importance of maintaining a clean, organized reception area.
- Back-office experience is beneficial
