Key Responsibilities:

- Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and polishing procedures to maintain optimal oral health for patients.
- Take medical imaging, such as X-rays, while adhering to stringent aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and preventive care, with customized approaches for both pediatric and adult patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems like Dentrix, ensuring thorough documentation and review.
- Support and uphold infection control procedures to prevent cross-contamination within the dental clinic environment.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist is required.
- Proficiency in the use of Cavitron, dental charting, fluoride treatment, and periodontal screening.
- Excellent patient education skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
- CPR certification and experience with ultrasonic scaling.
- Competency in data entry and operating Dentrix.

Work Environment:

You will enjoy a positive workplace featuring office parking, access to essential personal protective equipment (PPE) including disposable gowns, face shields, and more. Your working day includes a one-hour lunch break with the ability to manage patient appointments effectively, typically seeing one to two patients at a time, permitting individualized care and attention.

We offer competitive compensation, with a salary range of $50-$65 per hour, depending on experience, and benefits including paid holidays, vacation time, and discounted dental services.
