Dental Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our Mt Prospect location. The ideal candidate will assist the dental provider in delivering quality oral health care services to patients. This role is crucial in ensuring a seamless workflow within the clinic, delivering excellent patient care, and supporting the dentist in providing high-quality services.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Conduct chairside assisting for various dental procedures for general dentistry.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
Collaborate with the dental receptionist to schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.

Skills:
Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Office Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday - 9 to 5
1 or 2 Saturdays of the month 8:00 to 2:00

Pay:
$20 to $22
