We are seeking a skilled and compassionate dental hygienist to join our general dental practice on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience and be confident in delivering comprehensive hygiene services with professionalism and attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is reliable, personable, and committed to helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health. A college-level educational background is expected, along with the ability to communicate clearly and work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities include performing prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, calculus removal, ultrasonic scaling, fluoride treatment, oral hygiene instruction, oral cancer screening, oral pathology screening, patient education, and periodontal treatment support. Additional clinical duties may include local anesthesia, chlorhexidine use, antimicrobial placement, Arestin therapy, Periochip placement, antibiotic therapy, irrigation agents, pit and fissure sealants, whitening tray fabrication, Zoom whitening, bleaching, impressions, dental charting, patient records, file maintenance, patient recall, scheduling, treatment planning, and vital signs monitoring. Experience with Cavitron, Oraqix, four-handed dentistry, chair side assistance, pediatric hygiene, special needs patients, sterile procedures, gingivitis treatment, and bone grafting support is also valued.
The successful candidate will be comfortable collaborating closely with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care. CPR certification is required. A 1-hour optional lunch break is available, and on-site parking is provided for added convenience.
