Dental Assistant

Dr. Hernandez is looking to expand and hire a motivated, team player for our Lead Dental Assistant position. We are looking to add a teammate who excels at communication, enjoys educating patients, is looking to expand their skillset, can pay close attention to detail, and possesses the ability to critical think and come up with solutions.
Job responsibilities include abiding by OSHA standards, sterilizing instruments and rooms, and setting up for dental procedures. An EFDA would be responsible for assisting the doctor through dental procedures including restorative dentistry, crowns and fillings, extractions, root canals, dental implants, full mouth rehabilitation cases, triaging emergencies, impressions, etc. Radiology certifications would allow individuals to take any necessary x-rays prescribed by the doctor.

Dr. Rosa Hernandez, DMD, is a highly skilled Dentist at Dentistry of North Port. With multiple years of experience and a degree from the University of Florida in 2018, she is dedicated to providing comprehensive treatment to help patients and boosting their confidence in their smiles.
Patients appreciate Dr. Hernandez for her attentive approach, active listening to their needs, and delivering pain-free dental treatments to help them achieve optimal oral health.
In addition to Dr. Hernandez, we have two specialists in our practice who see patients one to two times each month. An Endodontist by the name of Dr. Kira Santos and a Surgically Trained Prosthodontist by the name of Dr. David Rua-Perez.
We provide a wide range of services for our patients including Restorative & Cosmetic Dentistry, Implants and Oral Surgery, Endodontics, Full Mouth Rehabilitation, Clear Aligners, and Periodontal procedures.
We participate with two insurance companies and have plans to be a Fee for Service office within the next year.
