Job Opportunity: Part-Time Dental Hygienist

Join our growing, family-owned dental practice that prides itself on offering comprehensive dental care in a welcoming and friendly environment. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in promoting optimal oral health and ensuring a comfortable experience for our patients. Your day-to-day activities will include:

- Conducting thorough dental cleanings and assessments, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing as necessary.
- Performing patient education on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of maintaining regular dental check-ups.
- Taking digital radiographs (X-rays) to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. (This will usually be done by your assistant).
- Collaborating with our supportive team of dental professionals to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.

Qualifications:

- Must possess a valid state dental hygienist license and be in good standing with local regulatory bodies.
- A degree in dental hygiene from an accredited institution.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional care.
- Prior experience in a general dental practice is preferred but not mandatory.

Work Schedule:

This part-time position requires availability on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 AM to 5 PM, with a lunch break scheduled from 1 PM to 2 PM. The ideal candidate will also have availability on Saturdays. To enhance your efficiency, our office provides an assistant for X-rays and room turnover, allowing you to focus on patient care.

Compensation:

Hourly rate is negotiable and commensurate with experience. We believe in rewarding our team members and fostering a positive work environment.
