Dental Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice as an integral member of our patient care team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for oral health, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing top-notch patient care. The ideal candidate will posses skills such as: exceptional communication, patience, ability to coach, and a professional demeanor.

Write appropriate clinical notes during each appointment.
Follow OSHA regulations.
Review schedule daily to prepare for patient arrival.
Sterilize hand pieces and disinfect operatories after each patient.
Keep sterilization room organized.
Review new patient health history.
Conduct new patient interview according to guidelines.
Escort patient to treatment room and accurately treatment plan into each chart.
Prepare impressions and/or models for the lab.
Ensure lab cases are present the day prior to appointment
Maintain all lab supplies and equipment in an orderly, clean condition.
Perform all expanded duties allowed by state law.
Promote treatment plans and encourage patient to accept treatment.
Perform four-handed assisting and delegated expanded duties.
Take and label x-rays and IOC photos.
Take appropriate digital photography
A minimum of 1 year experience is REQUIRED and 3 years experience is preferred as well as knowledge of a wide range of dental procedures. Experience with Dentrix is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $22.00 per hour depending on experience.

We are in the office Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6:45 - 3 and Tuesday/Thursday 7:45 - 5 with lunch from 1-2pm but you will only be working a 4 day work week with your off day being Wednesday.
