Full-Time Dental Assistant – General Dentistry

We are seeking a full-time dental assistant to join a modern, patient-focused dental practice that serves a diverse mix of general, oral surgery, multi-doctor, Medicaid, PPO, private, and endodontic patients. This role is ideal for a dependable, organized professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting and supporting a wide range of procedures.

Responsibilities include chairside assisting, taking digital X-rays, sterilization, impressions, instrument setup, treatment room turnover, and maintaining strong knowledge of dental terminology. Experience with Open Dental and Carestream is preferred, along with familiarity with root canals, extractions, and oral surgery. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently with the team are essential.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred and be comfortable providing excellent support in a busy general dental office. A high school education is appropriate for this role.

Our office maintains a welcoming, patient-centered environment while upholding high clinical standards. Safety is a priority, and all necessary PPE and sterilization protocols are followed according to CDC and OSHA guidelines, including disposable gowns, nitrile gloves, and regular masks.

A 30-minute lunch break is provided. Starting pay is $20 per hour, with higher pay available depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
