Position Overview
The Office Manager will oversee the daily operations of the practice, ensuring efficiency, financial stability, and outstanding patient service. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage both people and systems. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced healthcare setting and bring proven experience in dental or medical office management.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily front office operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative processes.
Supervise, train, and support front office staff, ensuring consistent and professional patient interactions.
Manage financial operations: patient billing, insurance verification, collections, and accounts receivable.
Maintain and optimize practice management software, reporting, and scheduling systems.
Collaborate with doctors and clinical team to streamline communication and workflows.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all regulatory guidelines.
Handle patient concerns professionally and promptly, promoting patient satisfaction and retention.
Monitor office budgets, expenses, and performance metrics to meet practice goals.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of dental or medical office management experience (dental experience strongly preferred).
Strong knowledge of dental insurance processes and patient billing.
Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar).
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and staff.
Ability to multitask, delegate effectively, and maintain a professional, positive attitude.
