Orthodontic Assistant
LOCATION
Houston, TXWe are looking for a friendly, motivated, and dependable Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our team! We are seeking someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping patients achieve beautiful, healthy smiles.
Responsibilities
Assist the orthodontist with patient care and orthodontic procedures.
-Prepare instruments in treatment areas.
-Assist with braces, wire changes, bracket placement, and other orthodontic procedures as directed.
-Take dental X-rays, photographs, and digital scans or impressions as needed.
-Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic appliance care.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
-Provide excellent patient service and help create a welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications
-Previous orthodontic dental assisting experience preferred.
-Knowledge of orthodontic instruments, procedures, and terminology.
-Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
-Positive attitude, reliability, and attention to detail.
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental office.
-Required certifications and radiology credentials as applicable.
