Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to our patients. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about dentistry, patient comfort, and supporting a collaborative dental team.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a wide range of procedures
Set up and prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment
Take and develop dental x-rays
Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment according to infection control standards
Provide post-operative and oral care instructions to patients
Support efficient patient flow and overall care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications
CDA certification or Associate Degree in Dental Assisting (preferred)
Current X-ray certification (preferred)
Proficiency with dental or medical records systems (Dentrix, Epic, or similar)
Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
Strong chairside assisting skills and knowledge of dental anatomy
Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology in dentistry (a plus)
Experience with medical terminology and coding practices (a plus)
Strong communication and patient-care skills
