Are you the leader our team is waiting for?
We're a thriving, growing pediatric dental practice in Spring, and we're looking for the right person to run our day-to-day operations.
This isn't a seat-filler role. We want an Office Manager who genuinely owns the building: someone the team trusts, parents remember, and the doctors can finally lean on.
Who We Are
Spring Children's Dentistry is a pediatric dental practice built on five core values:
Excellence — Going above and beyond for every family who walks in
Quality — Doing the work right the first time
Teamwork — We win together or not at all
Trustworthy — Honest with patients, honest with each other
Committed — Loyal, dependable, all-in
Our purpose is to create joyful dental experiences that help kids smile confidently — and to build a workplace people genuinely love showing up to. We run on EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System), so if you've worked in an EOS shop or want to, you'll feel right at home.
The Role
You will be the on-the-ground leader of Spring Children's Dentistry. The buck stops with you for daily operations, the front desk, scheduling, the patient experience, team performance, and hitting our weekly numbers. You'll work side-by-side with our clinical leads and report directly to our visionary
In your first 90 days, you will:
Run a weekly L10 meeting with the front desk team — same format we use across the company. Scoreboard, rocks, headlines, to-dos, IDS. You own this meeting.
Take over the weekly scoreboard — collections, same-day production, new patients, hygiene reappointment, case acceptance, no-show rate, Google reviews. You'll spot drift before it becomes a problem.
Improving on SOPs the team has been asking for — and make sure people actually follow them.
Help us get to "always recruiting." We're done with reactive, last-minute hiring. You'll build the pipeline.
Who We're Looking For
Honestly? We're being picky. Here's what matters:
The non-negotiables:
Follow-through. You do what you say you're going to do. Period. If you commit to it in Monday's meeting, it's done by Friday — or we hear about it on Wednesday, not after the fact.
Honesty. You give and receive feedback directly, kindly, in real time. You don't let things fester. You don't talk about people behind their backs. You hold the team accountable without making it personal.
Courage. You can have hard conversations. With the team. With parents. With doctors. With us. You don't avoid conflict — you walk toward it with care.
Accountability. You take ownership before anyone has to ask. When something's broken, you don't wait to be told to fix it.
Warmth that's real. Parents trust you within five minutes. Kids like you. Staff want to work for you. You can read a room and know when to be warm, when to be firm, and when to just listen.
The skills:
3+ years managing a dental, medical, or high-volume service operation. Pediatric experience is a plus, not required.
Strong with numbers. You read a daily production report, a scheduling grid, and a P&L without flinching.
Comfortable with software: Open Dental (or willing to learn fast), Google Workspace, Monday.com, dental intel / scheduling platforms.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus
Familiarity with EOS (Rocks, L10, Scorecard, Accountability Chart) is a big plus. If you've never heard of it but love systems, we'll teach you.
What will set you apart:
You're the person who naturally builds checklists, SOPs, and templates — not because anyone asked, but because that's how your brain works.
You've managed someone difficult before and gotten them performing — or made the call to let them go, and you can talk about both honestly.
You bring structure to people who run on instinct. You're the steady hand to our clinical visionaries — you don't need us to micromanage, and you push back when you disagree.
You believe culture is built one small interaction at a time, and you're willing to model it every single day.
What We're Honest About
We want this to work, so here's the real picture:
We are clinically excellent and operationally still maturing. You will inherit gaps. We know what they are; we've documented them; we want a partner to close them with us — not someone who'll be surprised when systems aren't perfect.
Our doctors run hot on clinical and quiet on confrontation. We need someone who will own the people side and tell us the truth, even when it's uncomfortable.
We're being more thoughtful this time about culture, accountability, and follow-through — three things we won't compromise on.
This role has a clear runway. As we grow toward our long-term vision, the right person could grow into a senior operations leader.
