Dental Assistant
LOCATION
New York, NYWe are a growing general dental practice seeking a skilled and dependable team member to support our busy office on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a professional, fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering excellent patient care. The right candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in dental assisting and be comfortable performing a wide range of general dental assistant functions.
Responsibilities include assisting chairside during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, maintaining clinical cleanliness, and exposing dental diagnostic x-rays as permitted. The ideal candidate must be cross-trained and able to multitask effectively while supporting both clinical and administrative workflow as needed. Strong knowledge of dental and medical emergencies according to OSHA guidelines and office procedures is essential.
Required qualifications include CPR certification, a high school education, and the ability to work well with patients and team members in a calm, professional manner. Dependability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude are important for success in this role.
