Job Opportunity: Part-Time Dental Hygienist
Join our dynamic team at a busy 5 Chair General Dentistry practice, where we pride ourselves on providing comprehensive dental care 7 days a week. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Part-Time Dental Hygienist to contribute to our patient-centered approach and enhance our commitment to exceptional oral health services.
As a Dental Hygienist in our practice, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our diverse patient base, which includes individuals under General, PPO, and Private insurance plans. Your primary responsibilities will include performing dental cleanings, conducting periodontal screenings, and assisting in treatment planning. Ideal candidates will have proficiency in calculus removal, cavitron use, and dental charting, as well as experience taking impressions and utilizing digital radiography/X-rays.
Our office is equipped with the latest technology to support your dental hygiene practices, and we follow strict protocols regarding infection control. We provide a comprehensive range of personal protective equipment (PPE), including disposable gowns, face shields, latex gloves, nitrile gloves, and regular masks, ensuring a safe working environment for both staff and patients.
You can expect to spend approximately one hour with each patient, allowing for quality interactions and thorough care. Occasionally, you may have the opportunity to see more than one patient at a time, enhancing the efficiency of our operations.
To thrive in this position, you should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, helping to educate them on their oral health and preventive care. Familiarity with Dentrix is preferred, as it will aid in streamlining our practice operations and ensuring a seamless patient experience.
