Dental Assistant
LOCATION
Brandywine, MDWe are a growing startup general dentistry practice seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team. Our services include everything from fillings and root canals to implants, and we are looking for a motivated, patient-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
This role is ideal for someone with 0+ years of experience and a strong willingness to learn. Responsibilities include chair side assistance, four-handed dentistry, taking alginate impressions, temporary crown fabrication, radiology, intraoral photos, infection control, instrument sterilization, dental charting, patient charting, patient records, patient education, oral hygiene instruction, and patient recall. Additional duties may include appointment scheduling, front desk support, insurance verification, treatment planning support, ordering supplies, and using Eaglesoft and digital x-rays.
Required qualifications include Maryland X-ray certification, BLS/CPR certification, temporary crown and bridge experience, and the ability to provide excellent customer service and patient care. A high school education is appropriate for this position.
This is a full-time position with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. Benefits include PTO and dental coverage. Compensation starts at $20+ per hour, negotiable depending on experience. Parking is available in the back behind the office.
