Assistant or EDDA Needed

We are looking for an upbeat, personable, full-time Dental Assistant for our fully updated and fun dental office. The perfect candidate has a positive attitude, is a team player that is reliable, detail oriented, outgoing, great with patients,and is able to communicate in a friendly manner.

We are a family dental practice and our goal is to provide the best quality care to every patient at every visit. We offer a wide range of treatment to our patients, including TMD and orthodontics (no experience is necessary here and we will train).

We currently have two Dentists, there may be some cross over for assisting. Ideally, we would love someone to come in and take responsibility for the back office.

Responsibilities

*Actively participate in the patient experience by striving to keep your patients focused on optimal treatment while attending to their individual needs and concerns
*Escort patients to/from the front desk and introduce them to other team members as appropriate. Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment
*Record patient charting and all of the dentist's notes in the digital patient chart as directed by the dentist
*Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, Dental Board, HIPAA, HR policies and practices)
*Lab case management
*Ordering and Supplies
*Ability to use Dentrix, check patients out as needed, as well as collect for appointments

Qualifications

*Necessary industry certifications and education
*Possess outstanding time management, communication, and technical skills
*Can-do attitude, a proactive nature, a strong sense of ownership, integrity and a desire to continue to learn and grow
*Demonstrate knowledge of dental terminology, instruments and equipment

Pay is based off of experience. Chairside assistant is $20.00-$28.00 an hour. EDDA $28.00 - $35.00 an hour.
