Job Opportunity: Part-Time Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our caring and experienced team at our well-established general dental practice. Our office is committed to providing individualized quality dental care, particularly with a strong emphasis on periodontal, occlusal, and TMJ health.

As a Dental Hygienist at our practice, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the oral and general health of our patients. We welcome applicants who are passionate about dental hygiene and committed to delivering exceptional care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a dental hygiene role, with proficient skills in hand scaling and scaling and root planing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including periodontal and oral cancer screenings.
- Perform a variety of dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and antimicrobial placement.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and assist in patient recall.
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed, ensuring patient comfort.
- Utilize advanced technology for treatment, including digital radiography and intraoral cameras.
- Maintain accurate dental charts and patient records in Dentrix Ascend.

This part-time position offers a flexible schedule with a one-hour lunch break from 12:00 to 1:00 PM, and you will see one patient at a time, typically spending 60 minutes with each individual.
