Full-time hygienist in a high-quality, fee for service general practice.

We are seeking a registered dental hygienist** to join our high-end, fun, and family-friendly general dental practice in beautiful Glen Ridge, NJ. Our practice is a **single-doctor, private office focused on delivering high-quality, high-tech dentistry in a relaxed and welcoming environment. We are looking for an individual who is friendly, energetic, and confident working collaboratively with a team that values professionalism, efficiency, and excellent patient care.

This is a full-time position** offering **30–35 hours per week** with a consistent schedule and a strong emphasis on quality interactions with each patient. You will work with **one patient at a time**, typically spending **45 minutes per appointment**, allowing you to provide thorough, attentive care. The role includes seeing both **adult and child patients, so the ideal candidate should be comfortable and capable in a mixed-age general practice setting.

Responsibilities include performing comprehensive dental cleanings, reviewing oral health conditions, taking and recording patient histories, updating chart notes, and supporting preventive care through patient education and communication. You should be comfortable using modern dental technology and maintaining a calm, upbeat manner in a fast-paced but relaxed clinical environment. A team-oriented mindset is essential, as is the ability to adapt to the needs of a private practice that values quality over volume.

We maintain strong infection control and safety standards and provide the following PPE: disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, latex gloves, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, and regular masks**. The office also offers **back off-street parking** for convenience. A **1-hour lunch break is included in the daily schedule.
