Job Summary:
In this essential role, you will provide thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque and tartar buildup. You will conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, gathering medical histories, and reviewing pertinent medical records, all tailored to ensure safe and effective treatment planning. Educating patients on preventive care and post-treatment instructions will be a primary focus, as you help foster long-term oral health. Your expertise will be critical during dental procedures, as you assist the dentist using four-handed dentistry techniques, enhancing efficiency and comfort for the patient.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, adhering to best practices for patient care.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and educate them on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Assist the dental team during procedures and ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
- Operate imaging equipment and maintain proper infection control protocols.
- Accurately document all patient interactions in electronic medical record systems, ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinical setting is preferred, especially within general dentistry.
- A solid understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control standards is essential.
- Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix will enhance your contribution to our team.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is advantageous but not required; a genuine enthusiasm for working with children is valued.

Compensation & Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $50.00 - $60.00 per hour, along with a robust benefits package that includes paid time off and employee discounts.
