Join Our Growing Dental Practice as a Part-Time Dental Hygienist!

We are excited to announce an opening for a dedicated and passionate Dental Hygienist in our state-of-the-art dental office, specializing in Pedodontics. Our practice is known for its clean and friendly environment, prioritizing the comfort and health of our young patients. As a part of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on children's oral health while working in a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough oral hygiene evaluations and assessments for pediatric patients.
- Perform essential tasks including fluoride treatments, pit and fissure sealants, and local anesthesia administration.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques while assisting the dentist during procedures.
- Provide patient education and oral hygiene instructions tailored to individual patient needs.
- Monitor and manage nitrous oxide sedation and ensure patient comfort throughout visits.
- Maintain meticulous records and assist with patient recall appointments.
- Take and process X-rays in accordance with dental health protocols.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in pediatric dental hygiene is preferred.
- Proficiency in all required hygienist skills, including chair-side assistance and administering local anesthesia.
- Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as effective communication with families is essential.
- Strong emphasis on patient education and a compassionate approach to working with children.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team of professionals.

Our office is equipped with the latest technology and adheres to the highest standards of cleanliness. We provide all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), including disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, and regular masks, ensuring a safe working environment for our staff and patients.

As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for a part-time hygienist who is enthusiastic about providing exceptional care to our young patients. Enjoy a 30-minute lunch break during the summer and a full hour starting in the fall.
